Specialty Services The Women's Center caters to a woman's special needs at every stage of life. Personalized diagnostic and surgical services for women undergoing specialty surgery procedures such as laparoscopy, hysterectomy or tubal ligation are just a sampling of the range of care. The Women's Center includes: The Birth Place, the Mother/Baby Center, Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery, the Lactation Center -- and more. For more information, call 855-3683. The Sleep Well Center. Parkridge East Hospital is helping to diagnose and treat sleep disorders with the Sleep Well Center. Devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of the full range of sleep disorders, the Center has spacious private rooms designed for comfort. The lab is closely monitored to assure that all sleep activity is recorded for complete evaluation. The Center can treat adolescents and adults. Emergency Care. The Emergency Department at Parkridge East recently received a 3-year Chest Pain Accreditation by the Society of Chest Pain Centers. Our Emergency Care Center is open 24 hours, seven days a week. Emergency physicians, registered nurses and EMT-Ps are on duty at all times with specialty physicians on call when needed. Centrally monitored, 16 private treatment areas allow medical and personal privacy while patients receive care. Specially equipped and designated areas are available for cardiac, trauma, orthopedic, medical, ear-nose and throat, and OB/GYN patients. Continuous radiology capabilities are available with radiologist support for interpretation around the clock. Parkridge East Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care The 22-bassinet Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is ready for the smallest premature newborn to the sickest full-tem baby.Our Board certified neonataologists and staff are all certified in neonatal life support. The hospital always ranks above the national average in the Vermont-Oxford measurement of NICU excellence of care. The Spine and Orthopaedic Center Parkridge East has earned a reputation for excellence in orthopaedics and sports medicine including shoulder reconstruction, spinal fusions and total joint procedures. With a focus on customer convenience, physical therapy and rehabilitation services are available for both inpatients and outpatients.The Spine and Orthopaedic Center offers a full range of orthopaedic services and features an orthopaedic surgery suite. Technology includes the Jackson Surgical Table, designed to reduce patient blood loss and provide access to a C-shaped arm that enables physicians to take x-rays from any position or angle. |
